PlaybackPro and PlaybackPro Plus El Capitan Beta
As of mid-May, the beta applications have been downloaded and used by 1000+ clients in various test and production environments. Small issues have been reported and are being corrected. OS X El Capitan introduced new graphics technology called Metal. While this technology is an excellent step forward it created some difficult problems for our applications. These beta versions address the issues of some videos only displaying black and still images not working in PlaybackPro Plus. We welcome any feedback to technical@dtvideolabs.com so we may address issues and improve the products before release. When writing about an issue please be as detailed as possible about the problem and if you can recreate an issue provide the steps.
