High Sierra News

We have been testing our applications with pre-release versions of High Sierra (10.13) and we continue testing with the release version.

Currently PlaybackPro 2.4.0 under High Sierra is working well.

PlaybackPro Plus 3.7.1 under High Sierra shows a pause during clip startup when the Take button or Enter key is used during mix transitions. We are working to resolve the issue. All other function appear to be working without any problems.

We typically recommend clients wait for at least 2 point updates to macOS before upgrading show systems and we believe it is even more important with this release. Apple has introduced a totally new file system and we recommend you test thoroughly with all external devices and keep good backups. If you upgrade to High Sierra, we recommend a partitioning strategy or using an external boot drive for testing the new macOS with all your applications, hardware and data.
